Our Journey So Far :
1981: During an era when the Indian pharmaceutical sector was predominantly controlled by foreign companies, our visionary founder, Dr. K.S. Sawhney, was driven by a passion to serve the masses and localize the industry. Thus, Radico Remedies was established. We began with a modest portfolio of just five products—brands that have since become our cornerstone and continue to be prescribed by esteemed healthcare professionals even after four decades. Over the years, we have expanded our portfolio from five products to over 500, spanning 28 therapeutic segments and producing medicines in 12 different dosage forms.
• 2005: A significant milestone was achieved when Dr. K.S. Sawhney spearheaded the launch of a new manufacturing facility in Himachal Pradesh’s excise-free zone, Baddi—a region renowned for its pristine groundwater, pollution-free air, and consistent power supply. Strategically positioned just 30 km from Chandigarh, this location offers seamless connectivity via road, rail, and air, making it an ideal hub for pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Guided by his ethos of "service before self," Dr. Sawhney assembled and mentored a team of skilled, dynamic, and driven professionals capable of taking on any challenge. Under his leadership, this team continuously innovated, developing new formulations and strengthening the company’s manufacturing expertise. Today, Radico Remedies is a respected name in both domestic and international pharmaceutical markets.
• 2006: We established our marketing division, catering primarily to the fields of orthopedics and geriatrics, and have been delivering quality healthcare solutions ever since.
• 2008: Our Corporate Office and Centralized Sales Depot were inaugurated in Sahibabad (Delhi), offering a streamlined facility to better serve our customers. This office oversees domestic sales and third-party business operations.
• 2010: Initially focused on oral dosage forms such as tablets, capsules, and liquid formulations, we expanded our operations to include external applications.
• 2012: Our manufacturing capabilities were further extended to include Small Volume Parenteral products.
• 2014: We launched Radico Lifecare, a retail-focused marketing division with a portfolio exceeding 300 products. Today, we have an extensive distribution network comprising more than 250 distributors and stockists across India.
• 2015: We ventured into government institutional business and significantly scaled up our manufacturing capabilities, supplying large volumes of medicines to states including Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana.
• 2017: To support our retail-oriented marketing division and facilitate third-party sales, we inaugurated a new office in Panchkula, ensuring convenience for our local clientele.
• 2019: On May 18, 2019, we mourned the loss of our esteemed founder, mentor, and guiding force, Dr. K.S. Sawhney. Following his passing, the leadership of the company was entrusted to Er. Vikramjit Singh Sawhney, a seasoned professional with 25 years of industry experience and deep expertise in production management.
• 2021: We established a new QA/QC Block, complete with facilities for formulation development and research. Currently, we are focused on advancing formulation technologies, with future plans to expand into niche-level research initiatives.
